Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms lacked windows and I could hear everything from the adjoining room, the service was exceptional, especially thanks to Danielle at the front desk. The location was off the beaten path, which I liked, and the dining options, although not perfect, offered a good variety of delicious items.

The hotel is ideally located right by the park, making it a great spot for families of four. The rooms were comfortable, but there was a slight unpleasant smell. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating during our entire stay.

The hotel provides rooms that are very nice, clean, and comfortable, depending on what detail you are looking for, but there were some issues during check-out. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, although we found hair in our sheet that wasn't ours in the hallways in the morning. The location is great for those who want to be away from the center of Clearwater Beach but not too far, on beautiful and calm Sand Key. The dining options come at an additional cost, but there are fresh bread rolls available. Overall, a mixed experience with some positives and negatives.

The hotel's location is lovely on the coast of Clearwater, FLA, offering nice live music and easy access to numerous restaurants, including the Columbia restaurant. The rooms had some drawbacks like being on the first floor with no view and lacking sunlight, despite fully open blinds. However, the service was very accommodating and helpful, with a good-sized bar offering a view of the ocean. The dining experience was a mix of great meals in other building restaurants and a disappointing in-house option with limited choices. The pool area, though crowded, was maintained well. Overall, the hotel provides a nice atmosphere, but some rooms may not offer the best views or natural light.

The hotel has a great location near the beach and is kept very clean. The rooms are spacious with tall beds and a nice balcony, though they could use some updating. The overall service by the friendly and helpful staff was excellent. The dining offered a different variety of delicious items. A positive was the private beach area for guests, but I was disappointed not to receive an upgrade despite my membership status.
